HydroVac South Island is seeking a full time Operations Assistant for our small but busy office based in Christchurch. Responsibilities for the role are answering incoming calls and dispatching work orders to our technicians, outbound calls to our scheduled customers for approval to proceed, managing our stock and equipment, organising and managing job specific safety paperwork. In short you will work closely with our Operations Manager to ensure a seamless and high level of customer service for our customers. Start date of 15th January 2018 or earlier by negotiation. Requirements: - High command of written and verbal English language - Experience with MS Office and internet based software packages - Experience in a service based environment - Experience despatching work to technicians or trucks is desirable - Able to work within a team and on your own - Self Motivated, as parts of the day you may be on your own - Structured/organised by nature, this is a busy role Due to the nature of our work and the investment in training, applications from those with Work Visa's will not be considered.
